MY story

I have always had a passion for organization and how it can transform your life. A few years ago, it was Random Acts of Kindness Day and I spontaneously offered up 2 free home organizing sessions to strangers on social media. Home organization was something I had always been passionate about and thought I would enjoy, but I had only made use of my skills with family/friends and in my own home. Turning my passion into a business just made sense. Two gracious moms invited me into their homes and allowed themselves to be my client guinea pigs. During these sessions, I confirmed what I suspected: that I would love this job. I still get excited for each and every purge, chaotic playroom and messy closet. I get such a feeling of satisfaction from creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.

MY PHILOSOPHY

Our environments have a direct effect on how we feel. Cluttered and disorganized spaces lead to feelings of being overwhelmed and increased levels of anxiety. Clean and orderly spaces create a sense of calm, improve focus and productivity and save you money. The more items you have in your home, the more you have to manage. Every item you keep when decluttering should be something that serves a purpose or brings you joy. The less you have, the less time you spend tidying and cleaning and the more time you have to enjoy what is really important to you.

HOw IT WORKS

Every job is different, but typically I speak with a client on the phone to get a feel for their needs. This is followed by a quick tour of the home, either in person or on a video call. If there is a good amount to purge, that happens first, typically with the help of the client. Once we see what is left after declutter, I form a plan for the new space with feedback from the client. I shop for and obtain any items we need such as bins or furniture. During a second session, the space is transformed according to the plan.
